The role seeks a proactive and creative curator to strategise, plan and implement programmes, events, and activities to build up a collection of leisure and lifestyle experiences as part of communities building. Drive the development and growth of segment-based communities through targeted strategic initiatives and effective partnership management. Implement and oversee community programming designed to add value for existing members and encourage participation from prospective partners and members

Plans

Strategic Planning & Programme Development

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to grow segment-based communities aligned with NTUC Club’s broader goals and the Labour Movement.
  • Curate a portfolio of leisure and lifestyle experiences tailored to different community segments.
  • Oversee the delivery of Calendar-of-Events from conception to implementation, managing communications, budgets, etc.
  • Identify trends and member needs to form programme design and long-term engagement strategies.
  • Monitor and evaluate programme effectiveness to refine future planning.

Partnerships

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Identify and onboard new partners who align with the department’s values and objectives.
  • Manage and deepen current partnership relationships with internal and external partners to support community initiatives.
  • Handle all aspects of the partnership onboarding, administration and arrangement.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders across NTUC Club entities to ensure cohesive programming and resource sharing.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to enhance programme delivery and community impact.

Engagement

Community Activation & Experience Design

  • Implement and oversee community-based programmes, events, and activities that foster member participation.
  • Enhance the experience of current members through meaningful and value-added engagements.
  • Design initiatives that attract prospective members and sustain long-term involvement.
  • Serve as a creative curator to ensure programmes are fresh, relevant, and inclusive.
  • Identify, engage and feature brand advocates/ambassadors, manage good relationships with them as faces and voices of the communities.

Other Duties

  • Support and assist in other duties as and when required.
  • To ensure compliance with timeline, SOPs and alignments to strategic directions and outcomes.
  • Any other responsibilities/tasks as assigned by the Manager and Head of Department

Qualifications and Other Requirements

  • Minimum diploma and above with at least 2 years of relevant working experience. Prior experience in event management, partnership relationship management and community engagement would be advantageous.
  • Results-oriented with strong team mindset and good planning, organising, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

Preferred Knowledge and Skills

  • Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, with good project management and presentation skills
  • Knowledge in MS Office
  • Resourceful with basic working knowledge of social media tools and/or content creation
  • Ability to execute good judgement, proactive and a can-do spirit
  • Good team player and adaptable to changes and new concepts
