Downtown East

Downtown East is the beloved lifestyle destination for members and all to have fun and celebrate their every life moment. Managed by NTUC Club, the leisure and entertainment arm of National Trades Union Congress (NTUC), Downtown East offers a one-stop solution to the lifestyle and recreational needs of everyone.

First established as NTUC Pasir Ris Resort in 1988, the destination has evolved over the years. In 2018, a five-year $200 million Refreshing Downtown East redevelopment project was completed.

Today, the #SGClean certified Downtown East offers a multitude of award-winning lifestyle experiences, including the country’s first nature-inspired integrated resort D’Resort, an expanded water park Wild Wild Wet, a myriad of retail, dining and entertainment options at Market Square – E!Avenue and E!Hub, as well as versatile MICE facilities like our newly revamped D’Marquee and customisable event packages.

Over the years, Downtown East’s attractions have won many awards and accolades. Wild Wild Wet was voted as the Top 10 Water Parks in Asia at TripAdvisor's Travellers’ Choice Awards in 2019 and 2020; from 2021 to 2025, it has consistently been recognised as the Best Outdoor Activity for Kids in Singapore at HoneyKids’ Love Local Awards. Our urban escape, D’Resort, has also been awarded Tripadvisor's Travellers’ Choice Awards for 2024 and 2025.
