A Flavour-Packed Lunar New Year Mala Celebration at Downtown East
December 26, 2025 - Gallop into the Year of the Horse with a flavour-packed Lunar New Year (LNY) Mala Celebration, happening from 8 January to 3 March 2026 across Wild Wild Wet and Downtown East (DE). Visitors can look forward to a playful blend of Mala-inspired waterpark fun, immersive installations, photo-worthy moments and exclusive festive promotions, inspired by Singapore’s iconic love for all things Mala.
Setting the tone for the celebrations, Wild Wild Wet’s beloved Shiok River gets a fiery makeover as it transforms into a cheeky, life-sized Mala hotpot. Hop on, float easy and take in the spirited atmosphere as cheeky ingredient floats - from chillies and prawns to lotus root, crab sticks, cheese tofu, lobsters, fishballs and meat slices pop up across the waters and drift alongside you, adding a playful twist to your waterpark adventure and social media feed.
Strike a pose with our life-sized familiar hotpot favs - from prawn paste, plum juice, instant noodle packs and Ling Ling Juan, to soup base packets and more. Ready to pepper up your IG feed!
