Game-On Photo Zone

On dry ground, enter another world of play, discovery and inspiration. This time with immersive photobooths, exciting activity try-outs and exclusive rewards at Downtown East Event Square.

Taking centrestage from June 1 to July 19 is the first-of-its-kind sport-inspired photo zone comprising four installations, presented by Singapore’s leading thematic self-photobooth studio Solace Studios.

The setting of each installation is uniquely designed for fun poses, epic shots and unforgettable memories. From a stadium-inspired booth complete with seating stands to a tennis court set kitted out with nets, rackets and balls, each zone brings full-on game-day to life.

Just steps away, a locker room photobooth styled with lockers and bench seating ups the “behind-the-scenes” feel, while a beachy set with deck chairs, surfboards and even a “pool” nails the perfect holiday shot.

Prices start from $10 for adorable mini strips or classic photo strips, $12 for larger multi-frame prints, and $20 for a fun mega photo strip (10 times bigger than a classic photo strip) – all inclusive of digital copies.

Held at the heart of Event Square is a weekend Enrichment Fair – a discovery zone great for curious young minds between four and 12, where visitors can step in to experience activity try-outs, performances, demos and showcases, while exploring new interests and skills.

Happening every weekend from June 1 to July 19, from 11am to 6pm, the showcase presents a changing mix of fitness, creative, musical and learning-led experiences.

Participating play and enrichment providers include:

- Galaxy Gymnastics: Gym challenges including handstand, balancing shapes on beam, shuttle run, bouncing ball, throwing hoop and catch, bouncing & landing on trampoline 

- Yue Xue Le: Word Yoga, Balloon Word Rally, Tongue Twister Dash

- Achievers Arts: Sketch work, mini canvas draw & colour-in 

- Edventure Learning Centre (Powered by LCentral): Word search & lucky draw

- Cristofori Music School: Music performances, trial classes

- Ark Liv: Basic fitness tests (e.g., mobility/ strength checks), try-outs, light fitness challenges

- The Pilates Circle: Pilates trial, personalised postural assessment, body composition scan

- Galaxy Boxing Gym:  3 min intro to boxing stances & punches; 2 min padwork session with coach

- Happy Fish Swim School: Pop Quiz & Trivia on benefits of swimming, different use of equipment

- Anytime Fitness: PT consultation, fitness challenges and prizes

- Seriously Addictive Mathematics:  Math manipulatives & worksheets, math activities & games

- Mobius Arena Training Studio: Self-defense showcase & demonstrations

- Upwall Climbing:  Intro to basics of climbing, Climbing-themed kids activities

Sportacular Family PlayDay 2026

The inaugural Sportacular Family PlayDay 2026 brings families together for a lively morning at Orchid Country Club. Organised by UPlay Communities in partnership with Start Young, an experiential programmes and events partner, the outing is designed to strengthen community bonding through active lifestyles.

Centred on a ‘Try-It-All Sports Playground’ concept, families team up and move freely at their own pace across different stations in a non-competitive setting focused on participation, exploration and shared experiences.

Rally it out at table tennis or kick into motion with football drills, then jump into Zumba, quick HIIT bursts or kickboxing – short, guided sessions that are easy to follow and fun to join.
